Two villages active. Six in scouting. We are on the ground in Istria (Croatia, first houses under construction, opening 2026) and in Madeira (Portugal, land notarised to Scholarium AG by escritura on 22 August 2025, design in progress).

Istria, Croatia
25 homes on 8 hectares, UPU-licensed plan by architect Drita Novak. First houses under construction. Rolling hills, olive groves, three airports within 40 minutes.

30 homes on 20 hectares, the Orange Valley. Land notarised to Scholarium AG by escritura on 22 August 2025. Masterplan by nuum studio (Wojtek Komorowski). Partnership with A Place to Be.

Our story
Citadel Garden was founded by Rahim Taghizadegan — economist, physicist, last Austrian economist of the Austrian School in the direct tradition. The goal: stop waiting for institutions to adapt and quietly build something better, starting with land, homes, and real deeds.
The first village broke ground in Istria, on land already designed for families seeking long-term stability. In Madeira, the land was notarised to Scholarium AG by escritura on 22 August 2025, in partnership with the A Place to Be community.
From these foundations a network is growing — village by village, deed by deed. Each one shaped by its land, its people, and its purpose.
